After interviewing several contractors, we decided to go with Luka! Barbara and I are so glad we did! Hard-working, personable, does what he says he’s going to do when he’s going to do it. Outstanding human being! We are so blessed to have had him through this two months of rehab/remodeling of our kitchen and other parts of our beach home! I can’t say enough good things about him and his team Gabrielle and Charlie! They get er done!!

Luka was great! We had deck and stair repairs. He took the time to explain everything to me and his work is solid. Prices are typical of OBX. They are my new go to for repairs.

Luka and his wife both work on projects for me. Luka installed shiplap on our ceilings and looks amazing. His wife christine cleans our home and does a fantastic job.

If I could give 1000 stars I would! Do not hesitate for any reason to call Lucka for help with Ideal Home Services. It seems he is an expert of all trades, and if can't do it he knows someone who can. To top it all off he is super nice and accommodating. Lucka is very trustworthy...since we don't live full time in OBX and rent in the summer there are times he goes in our house when no one is here or when guests are checked in and I never have had to worry. All guests who have met him have also praised his work and customer service/professionalism. He has fixed fences, fixed & installed door locks, simple plumbing issues, installed window units, ceiling fans, and much-much more. He was even so kind to teach me how to do some simple things in our house in Kill Devil Hills because it is a cinder block home and typically easy things have to be uniquely done. In summary, pick the phone up now!

Over the past year, Luka has completed several projects at our recently purchased home in Nags Head and we have had an excellent experience. He has completed several projects including lvp floor installation, deck rebuild, appliance replacement and a bathroom remodel. Notably, the total deck tear down and rebuild was a huge success and Luka spent countless hours to arrange appropriate subcontractors, obtain permits and work with us to gain HOA approval. Throughout all of the projects, Luka has been very dedicated, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. He does outstanding work for a reasonable price and to top it off, he is friendly to work with! We will continue to utilize Luka for various projects in the future and feel lucky to have found him!
